Description of  Nitric Acid 98%

The initial concentration of nitric acid produced by fully automatic double pressure process is generally about 60%. Concentrated nitric acid adopts distillation process to further evaporate water in dilute nitric acid to increase the concentration to 98% or more. 

Our company’s concentrated nitric acid is light yellow, clear and transparent, no impurities can be seen by naked eyes.

Application of  Nitric Acid 98%

It can be used in the production of explosive, dye, paint and other products.

1. Its aqueous blend is used for cleaning food and dairy equipment owing to its ability to remove precipitated calcium and magnesium compounds with ease.

2. In fertilizer production, it is used for manufacturing fertilizers such as calcium nitrate, ammonium nitrate etc.

3. Making dyes and drugs Used in making dyes and drugs from various coal tar products

4. It is also used in for making nitrate salts such as ammonium nitrate, silver nitrate, calcium nitrate etc.

5. Gold refining, use it to separate gold from other materials.

6. It’s used for manufacturing industrial chemicals.

7. Used in science laboratories at schools for experimenting when specifically testing for chloride.

8. Used in the field of medicine in its pure state as a caustic to get rid of chancres and warts.

• The product is an oxidizer with strong corrosivity and irritation, which can cause burns to human body.

•  The container should be handled with care. Keep the container sealed.

•  Stored a cool and ventilated warehouse. The temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 30 ℃.

•  Keep away from fire and heat sources. Stored separately from reducing agent, alkali, alcohol and alkali metal, and mixed storage is not allowed.

• The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and appropriate materials.
